
J.M. McDonough works on stage, in television and film in and around New York, and is the voice of a variety of ads, animations, and video games. Favorite New York stage roles include Senator Langdon in Deep are the Roots, and various roles in Uncle Tom’s Cabin, both at Metropolitan Playhouse, and Rev. Davidson in Rain, directed by Bruce Minnix at East Lynne Theater Co., in Cape May. He played a foil to Jackie Mason in the film One Angry Man, the blind priest in Charles Nuckolls’ Secrets Kept, had principal roles in television’s Homicide, and was a regular on The Chappelle Show. His training includes Walt Witcover, Terry Schreiber, and at BADA with John Barton and actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company.
