Melanie Portsche fell in love with theater via musical theater in her childhood, first performing in Ohio and Michigan and eventually receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre.  She's studied improv with UCB and the PIT and has performed in New York City and regionally in a variety of shows, benefits, film projects and web series.  Some favorite roles include Lauren in Supernova in Reseda  (TBTB at BIT Festival in Zagreb, Croatia), Stephanie in The Training (TBTB Playmakers Redux), and the Female Authority Figure in Hairspray (CPS Productions).  Additionally, Melanie has been a blissful participant in a number of the TBTB Playmakers Intensives and is incredibly grateful for these creative collaborations.
