Reviews
THEATERMANIA (Zachary Stewart):
"A riotous revival..... Thirty years later, the play still feels subversive, witty, and even eerily relevant... We howl with laughter!
HUFFINGTON POST (Jed Ryan):
"This 'Jungle' Is Jumpin’! Ludlam’s over-the-top queer spirit and in-your-face style is still alive and kicking..... a garishly grandiose experience...beyond impressive!
FRONT ROW CENTER (Casey Curtis):
"A stew of wonderful theater. Some of the ingredients are lust, greed, guilt, double entendre, silliness, ventriloquism, and puppetry....ridiculously wonderful entertainment. The cast...is fantastic across the board."
THE REVIEWS HUB (Adreinne Sowers):
"The audience is in for a fun ride...... .. A delightful, murderous, piranha-filled romp! Living up to its namesake movement of Ridiculous, The Artificial Jungle brings bold energy to an absurd premise.
REVIEWS OFF-BROADWAY
"Goofy, farcical and very funny. The actors here are great, pulling out all the stops without ever breaking character with even a wink and a nod. It is this group of professionals that sell The Artificial Jungle."
THEATRE IS EASY
"The hilarious, campy style of Charles Ludlam and the Ridiculous Theatrical Company lives on, in this excellent revival."
LIGHTS AND SOUND AMERICA
"Theater Breaking Through Barriers production provides plenty of hilarity, thanks to Quinton's direction and a cast that knows that the surest route to big laughs involves playing this absurdly steamy melodrama for keeps.
THEATRE SCENE
"Directed with real pizazz and flair by Everett Quinton... The current revival...a blast from the past and a replica production..."
